The Palm Leaf Mug features a unique hand drawn palm leaf design that wraps around the entire mug. Each palm was painted by hand with liquid wax, which resists the glaze yet melts away in the kiln during firing to reveal the warm speckled clay body next to the silky semi-matte white glaze. 

These mugs are hand thrown and glazed one at a time, making each one individual and unique with slight variations in shape, surface design, and finish from what you see pictured.
