The Speckled White Colander is thrown on the pottery wheel with speckled clay, which is dipped in a satin-matte white glaze. The form features two small handles and each drainage hole is punched and smoothed by hand.  

These colanders are hand thrown and glazed one at a time, making each one individual and unique with slight variations in shape, size, surface design, and finish from what you see pictured.
